Okay, here's the story...A few years ago I was mighly obsessed with "Chrono Trigger", possibly one of the greatest RPGs for the Super Nintendo along with Final Fantasy VI (known as FFIII in the West).
Anyway, while playing Chrono I found the female protagonists, tom-boy Princess Marle and handy girl Lucca to resemble some... familiarity. Where have I seen her, before?
And then it hit me. Marle was meant to be Helga Pataki, and Lucca was no other than Phoebe Heyerdah. And if we had Helga and Phoebe, then Crono was undoubtly Arnold, ESPECIALLY with such a hairstyle.
I the had the idea of drawing each main character from Chrono Trigger into their "Hey, Arnold!" equivalent. Sadly, lack of time only allowed me to have the main three finished (Crono, Marle, and Lucca).
Here's what the rest would have been:
Crono = Arnold (done)
Marle = Helga (done)
Lucca = Phoebe (done)
Robo = Harold
Frog = Sid
Ayla = Rhonda
Magus = Wolfgang
Maybe one day I'll finish this series. Maybe. Not likely now, though. But maybe one day I will.
If any of you want to give me a hand, though, I'll be more than welcome, bwahaha...

Indeed. The more I thought of the Chrono Trigger characters, the more resemblances I found with Arnold.

I couldn't think anything for him. Each character was selected mainly because their personalities met with those of the characters in the game.
Crono doesn't seem to have any "close buddy", so, no, no Gerald here. Poor guy.

You don't need a fanfic, just play the game thinking on them as the characters. IN FACT, I believe you are able to change the characters' names in the game (I'm not that sure, it was a LONG time ago), so you can simply change "Crono" for "Arnold" and so on.
Do it, if you can. You'll see the attitudes match.
