Description The lorikeets at Coral World didn't like sitting on people. They would get very nippy if anyone tried to get them to sit on a hand. The only person they tolerated was the exhibit manager. Since rainbow lorikeets only drink nectar, the cup holds some sort of sugar syrup.

Haha I've seen birds trip in their eagerness to reach something before, I wouldn't be surprised if one did fall off

We did something like this at San Diego zoo, but those little guys were ALL over us! My brother at one point had ten of them crawling all over his sweater.
