Ar-Feiniel she was called, the White Lady of the Noldor, for she was pale, though her hair was dark, and she was never arrayed but in silver and white."

Aredhel and Galadriel were first cousins, born in the same year. A close friendship between the two of them is never alluded to, which is interesting considering the other parallels. Aredhel's greatest friends are the sons of Fëanor, while Galadriel is closest to her brother Finrod. Of note, Galadriel and Melian share a particularly close friendship, and Galadriel lives with her in Doriath for a significant period of time. At some point, Aredhel wanders into the forest of Nan Elmoth where she marries Eöl, who ultimately spells bad news. In my head there's a final meeting between the two of them in Doriath just before Aredhel's death which is sketched out in this sequence. And Galadriel remembers and mourns her oldest female companion with whom she shared happier days.

This series of drawings is again a departure from my usual style of digital painting and unapologetically Frozen-influenced. Sisterhood is forever! This was really fun to do. Are there other stories you'd like to see done in comic form?
