Is that the frightening creature what's-his-name's model wasn't pointing at? It looks a whole sight friendlier in your depiction. Maybe it's relaxed, bellied-up on worm. Gorgeous images, Melanie. Photo-manipers are going to have gobs of fun with your stuff. Thanks a lot for sharing, dear.

I'm somewhat familiar with them, Melanie. On one of the city plants I worked they'd built a nest atop a towering Loblolly Pine. Every day they'd carry back huge fish from the neighboring Intracoastal Waterway that any fisherman would envy. Then one day a chick fell out on its head and croaked. You'd have thought it was a CSI massacre scene. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Audubon Society and more were out there for hours vexing over it ... I'm thinking, "You know? It's a bird. That's happens sometimes." They used that same nest every year. The fledglings would remodel it. I loved watching them.

Nice...I prefer the Osprey though...they are true hunters, whereas the Bald Eagle is somewhat of a scavenger...they steal more often than hunt...hmmmmm rather an appropriate symbol for our country....anyway, I digress!! gotta go clean some toilets...Lol TTYL!!
