Description
This is a collaboration I did with my friend Meregoddess. She did the main concept,then threatened me with bodily harm if I didn't finish it. I'm kidding,of course.
I did some shading,and added a few details. Mere is an awesome artist. Give fav's and comments here.[link]

I almost feel I can reach out and touch it, it looks so tactile. Great, great piece. Perfect surrealism, everything about it is kind of believable.

It was fun to work on. I still get a laugh when I look at it. The expression strikes me as being a bit sinister tho'.lol

is a big grey candle with a landscape on top...is Earth's mask, changed, again and again...a tired Earth...dry, smiling like a gig Dad...coz the boys were not as good as they promised...wonderful collaboration piece...

Earth's mask. Wow,that's great. I wish I would have thought of it. It does sort of look like a melting candle too,now that you mention it. Maybe I should have drawn a wick,at the top.

I haven't forgotten about your invitation. Unless you've changed your mind. The face? I've been messing with it here and there. It's not an easy angle for me. I know there are others,who could turn it out in one evening. I'm just not that good yet.

no rush with the face, you could make a photo of it, a close-up, big as a desktop....know what??...what if you take a shoot of that face from drawing and send it to me, as email attach, so I can print it and destroy it/change it, with my genius....he-he-he...................before any attempt to become a hero, tell me, Bob, who was one of your heroes, so far?.......sir....what is sir?...hope is a brand of beer...

I could try a photo. I will in fact. It would probably work better than enlarging it. Enlarging it might come out too grainy,or pixelated. Maybe for what you want to do it won't matter. It might even enhance the effect,of the Bibire effect.
I'll try both ways.

"Sir",is a formal address. For me,I use it as a friendly way of showing respect,in a more casual way.

I digitally "snipped" it out of the original drawing. I printed it out,and am now using graphite to enhance it a bit.
It was very small,and enlarging it made it very grainy. It ought to do the trick when I'm done. Note me your email?
