Optimus Prime.This is a rarity for me, colouring someone else's work, but the lines of *KidNotorious are so cool I thought I just couldn't go wrong. This design is an awesome mesh of G1, Animated and Bayformer Prime, and it really appealled to me.
I deliberately left out the flames, as they cluttered the colours, and don't suit this design.
This was a very complex piece to colour, and was unusual for me as I did it in short bursts over many days, which is why there is such a high attention to detail, so please fullview

The further I look into your gallery the more I love your work. The mixture of the different transformer generations certainly works well here. I couldnt help but giggle at the bayformer name, always makes me think of babeformers and that would be a different show all together XD

You're right, his stuff is very popular amongst colourists, but it was the design of this guy that just drew me to it

I really love the colors, you did a great job making him look metallic. It has a kind of vector look to it, in my humble opinion, but it goes very well with the style of the line art. Love it.

Thank you, I prefer to give Transformers that shiny, new look. I know they are often drawn scuffed and dirty, but I like them to look their best for their picture XD

Well the new "Transformers Prime"(?) show coming soon seems that it may have a simplified Movie- verse style. Hopefully it will be cool.

You are very good at giving metallic surfaces their well deserved polished look and again I love that this has no outline. To me, it looks almost as if you had painstakingly pieced this together out of colored paper which gives this work a very interesting aesthetic.

It's fashionable to colour Transformers kinda scuffed and dirty, but I prefer the fresh and shiny look right now.
