It turned out freaking gorgeous. Those edges on the metal, those highlights... Classy helmet too, ahaha, I love your love for helmets. XD
Where do you take inspiration for armor from? I could use some.

Ahdunno, I guess I'm all "let's see if I can top my previous one". Because I've seen too many game-worlds where the details of your armor determine how good it is and the better looking (therefore higher quality) armor you're wearing, the more capable you are because otherwise you wouldn't be able to *put* it on for some inexplicable reason. Same goes for weapons. The more decorative-looking, the better they cut. Although in many cases the explanation is that the bling on the equipment is magic enchantments. So this is the case in my pictures.

Gosh you nailed it with being unable to put on fancy armor, unless you are skilled enough XDDD I mean with strength it makes sense, it could be heavy, magical stuff, ok, maybe, but Dexterity? What? Can't a rogue slip their arm in the sleeve until they level? Is it so evasive?

I suppose it could have something to do with real life, where all those nobles had armor and weapons that were both fancy and better than less noble people's.
I get it anyway. Sheesh, I gotta draw some armor from refs first, I suppose.

I suppose it could have something to do with real life, where all those nobles had armor and weapons that were both fancy and better than less noble people's. Well, yes, true, but the ones with extra bits on them were produced for display- to be used only on parades and whatnot. Otherwise, yes, they did have functional masterwork weapons and armor with pretty pictures on them, but things like horned helmets and fancy reliefs/sculpturey shapes on the shoulderpads and armor, in times and places where the standard model didn't have any, were for show and for cases where the wearer wasn't expected to go in melee or unprotected by a large number of men, such as, only to boost morale by being present and visible on the battlefield but not to really go down and dirtyXD.

Yeah, you're right. That's kind of sad, cause that is why most of my characters wear very plain clothes. XD I have this inner block of "would that be practical to wear". It's silly in a genre called "fantasy". XD

I don't mind so much exaggerated armor decorations but there's a point where it looks far too silly to suspend my disbelief. Some anime/eastern videogame -styled character designs for example XD for example giant shoulder area, but wasp-thin waist area, combined with impossible eye-hiding headwear and areas of mysteriously bare skin, and giant metal fins coming at different angles from the back and arm sections, and stiletto heel boots...

You make me want to design a character like that. Some dude with impossibly long hair, stilettos, bare skin and weirdass overdone armor.... Wait that sounds like my Fable character lol. Need to draw him one day. XD

But it's not the same when you do it for parody XD I mean it for realz.
One time I tried to draw a woman with impossibly long body (12 heads or more) but it turned out to not look much more ridiculous than those... other women drawn that way XD

Thanks! I'm very happy with it. It's the most finished acrylic thing I've done so far.

Heh, he acquired the Spiky-Skull Armor of Doom! This is very cool; I'm impressed by anyone who can make physical media do what they want. ^_^

:3 He's killed people by biting their face. Probably the helmet stunt has been used sometimes.

Nothing wrong with Traditional art, I really like how this one turned out. The armor is especially cool.
