Description Steel, fire... those were the times...
well, actually, this is the same character from several other pictures but the angle and lighting made making the face trickier.
He was a party NPC/ GM PC in a few settings, where ironically he was the reasonable of the bunch in many situations. Everyone agrees he tends to bend logic to suit his arguments though. His weapon is more appreciated.

Also this time I'm not burdening with the logistics of the wings, they're simply supernatural, because they are and because making them physically/ anatomically possible requires a completely inhuman body shape and corresponding armor design to support them. I just like me a guy in armor, unoriginal as it is.

*whispers* In most secretive secret I must reveal to you that the first time I saw this I thought he has bunny ears. But he was still bloody damn badass even in that moment when I thought it XDDDD Kurkach for the win! Also his armor kicks asses as always. Or even more than usual with this dramatic lighting.

haha, I *tried* drawing the curvature of the horns as seen from this angle, but when I got to 2/3 of them decided it looks too nice this way and the last bit that would bend back up again could be obscured from view (following the exact shape wouldn't make for a cool picture). You aren't the first with the bunny ears

There's no such thing like looking too nice XDDDD But I understand. Anyway it is still a glorious picture! But seriously, you could be a bit more imaginative with title hehe Β

Sorry Im taking so long to reply. Your comments are always such a pleasure to read that I want to reply to them nice and long but ultimately always fail XD I'm so glad that you liked the picture, making his face from that angle was a bit tricky, I'm happy that you think I pulled it off

DANANANANA KURKACH.

Oh this is looking so fab, the fire is like of of some classical painting! And the night above is dark and full of terrors. Is he done pillaging or is this only the beginning?
I love the head tilt. And OH GOD, I love the armor. Your armor is too strong for mere men, but he is not a mere man. That warm and cool light mixing, freaking ugh, good!

The axe looks so simple compared to the detailed armor, though. But I guess something HAS to be practical.

He hasn't even started

It's always wanting to draw some of those big fat armors they have in games while knowing that armor isn't made of ginormous steel plates. Also in that art they alter the proportions of the people a lot and this is the reason it works visually. So I always end up mid-way... some of the parts here could work, while others not at all... well, even the axe has some unnecessary parts. Magic, okay?
I HAVE drawn him in an actual realistic armor AND weapons a few times but I haven't finished any of those because it's the same as popping open an encyclopedia. He even had an actual shield and practical head protection. Because it is a logical thing to have if you aren't in a piece of fiction, but if you are in a fiction, no helmet is the way to go if you want to not die as part of the crowd
