Great shot. I like the dark detail of the church as oppossed to the bright sky. I love the way that the light coloured spire seems to be the link between the church and the sky.

It definatly looks more sinister in black and white. Almost like a scene from an old horror movie..... have you seen Night Of The Hunter? It reminds me of that.

It's a fantastic film and very creepy. Just make sure you watch the 1955 version and not the godawful 90's remake.

another great shot michele. i would try to lighten the church a bit more to regain some detail, and to separate the tree from it better. aside from that, i think it's a great composition. the colours and are good and the sentiments works. just my two and half cents.
