Thought I'd finally upload some art I've been storing onto while I'm recovering. Here's something I made at my private art class. He's been having me do these oil pastel dancer pieces, as that's something he's currently really into. It's a really neat experience! This one turned out all right.I'm doing another one now and he's making one right alongside me using the same reference. I've been loving this mentoring stuff; it's really helping me out.

Holy mother, what are you! The next Edgar Degas?! Amazing colour, I never thought of using oil pastels on canvas, that sounds like a great Idea, I've been struggling to find something that doesn't A, fight it off of, or B, dissolve. Thanks.Β

Hah, I wish! I've been using his work for inspiration recently though; he has incredible skill with pastels. Thanks! Yeah, I've found canvas to be a reliable surface. It holds the pastel pretty well.
