Something a little different! Gomen! For not putting something up in such a horribly long time!! I'm preparing for the sterling scholar in my school and I might use this, probably, because I don't have a lot of up-to-date work that really potrays me. (Eeik! and it's THIS month! So not ready!) Over the summer I took a lot of pictures up camping (gasp! The name of the camp site was Monte Cristo! <3 (Thinks of Albert and Dantes!) my favorite place on earth), in yellowstone, and where ever else I went. I got this painting from a picture I took in Monte Cristo. <3Don't ask me why I did this, I'm really not too big in landscape painting, and in the beginning I was planning to put a person in it, but then decided not too. . . Sorry, I just like to do people more than anything! ^_^; Anywho, I hope it looks right, I spent lot's of time into it. . .
acrylic on canvas. about 10 years, ahem, I mean hours. ^_^

Oh wow, this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the fantasy foggy type of feeling but the clarity of life in the trees and colors.
The balance between light and dark is amazing and the use of space is great!!!!! XD
