Woot! Fire Emblem fan art!
So...I did this in 10th grade...lol, and I finally have some better proportions down, I guess.
I used the original art as a reference, especially for Hyperion. The first and only time I've ever drawn a dragon (or wyvern). And the only reason it looks decent is cause I used that original art.
Hahaha....but anyways, this pic (and all other colored pencil pics I ever did) took an EXTREMELY long time to finish. Maybe even longer than my digital ones.

Haaaay! There are... five SNES? games, three gameboy (advanced) ones, one GC and one Wii. ...And the very first, I've heard, is being remade for the DS. 
Oh, Heath, how we love you! And your wyvern, too. ;D I really like how the beast turned out. ...Or rather, beasts. *paws at Heath* Purrowr~ And the starry sky looks quite appealing. The dark of night would be more prominent with cool undertones to the other colors, like bluer greens and maybe more faded yellows and browns, but it looks nice all the same. <3

Lol...well I'm glad you like this picture! Its pretty old...I was using small hard-to-blend pencils...so it took a looong time to do.

I worked on some more FE8 sketch/scraps while I was "out". Don't know when I'll post them. I'd like to do some more after I'm done with school work... >_> Hee hee, I should try Valter...

Honestly when I can look a piece of FE fanart straight in the eye (so to speak), it's usually pretty good. ^^ The only thing I might add is that Hyperion should be a little bigger-- in the official art Heath is sort of sitting on his leg, and he's about half the wyvern's height while sitting down (and Hyperion's head is bent forward).

Well it would be hard to fit that on a paper, lol....
I started Heath toward the center, so it didn't give much space for Hyperion in the first place. Notice I only have half of him! Oh well, next time I try drawing large animals, I'll make sure they're big enough.
