hi! missed you thanks very much, so glad that you like this, it was more to do with my mood at the time than the actual color in nature although the drawing was made outside on the spot yes the blues carried me away in this painting

you spoil me! thanks very much, I didn't like it at all when it was painted...but since then it sort of looks better most confusing, maybe I should go with my emotions more in oil paint

oh I submitted the other oil painting & thanks for the seasons greetings...I will survive but its also such a lonely time for me with two unreasonable parents to deal with will be mighty glad when its all over

thanks, yes that was quite deliberate to use that particular blue, to suit my mood more than the real blue of when the drawing was made, like the sea reflects the sky reflects the sea so its all very reflective blue sort of!

We haven't the sea nearby. But I always look at the sky and like to see the nuances of blue. Of course, the tones of sky and sea are different, but in reflections ... I like the deep blue. And I realize this color is great for concentration.

Some shades depend on the type of material / paint we use. This is interesting too.

I would miss the sea if it was too far away maybe on the steppes where the grasses move like the sea in the wind but still I would want to be near water aww
