One of two drawings that should have been out like yesterday. Well actually like July but then I missed that so then I made a shot for yesterday, but I missed. Anyway, let's pretend I didn't. For this drawing I tried my hand at the Lofi Girl meme cause it's something I've wanted to do for quite a while. I saw the Lofi girl always recommended to me for quite a while but for a long time I never clicked it till probably in 2020 I decided to give it a check out and I really like it. The new Synthwave radio boy also sounds really rocking to. Both are great when I need noise but not vocal music. Anyway, enough on my history with that. Ever since I saw her, I wanted to make my own version. I first thought about doing Kaila but never got around to it, then Azura but never got around to it. And now I decided to try it with Misato-chan. And since she wears big headphones the most it fits really well with her. Now I didn't trace over the Lofi Girl to make this. This isn't traced or copied [well it is heavily inspired obviously]. I really wanted to make this fit with Misato's style. I made Misato in her secondary outfit [minus the oversized coat] because it was comfier than her usual outfit, I draw her in. I also noticed I can't keep her headphones the same for nothing. For the colors, I got darker blue/purple. I added a modern desk light and PC. And room paraphernalia that fits or is referencing her personality. Oh, and also for the background whereas the Lofi girl as this nice place in France in the background I decided to go for a bright neon city. I was kind of inspired off this a Lucy in the Lofi meme which was drawing that for a Samuel Kim video which was a Lofi cover of Let You Down from Cyberpunk Edge Runner. Also, the had to adjust from the OG anyway cause Misato is right-handed, Lofi Girl is left-handed. I also made it that Misato be working on a drawing tablet cause she's too cool for school. Plus, even if she would go to school, she wouldn't be in it, anymore. Anyway, I could go on about all the little details I put in the background, but I'll let you spot them out. Can you see Misato's choice in video games and books? Do you recognize any? Do the girl in the poster?
