SatAM had about as many characters as the current Sonic games, but at least it built and developed those characters and gave them actual personalities, unlike Emo-Sonic, Stereotypical Big-Handed Ally, Furry Sex Symbol With Wings, Pink Stalker With Hammer, Dumb Purple Cat Voiced By Duke Nukem (Seriously, look him up!), Bad Robot Turned Good, Little Kid Sidekick, and Little Girl With Cute Pet.
