A while back I decided to try my own interpretation of the Kirin, basically a Japanese unicorn. I have pages and pages of sketches, starting from exact copies of ancient Japanese art and slowly evolving into this, my Kirin design. I had a lot of fun with it, despite how complicated it is. There's so much flowing hair, and all those scales!This one is in kind of a plain pose, but it's pretty much my reference sheet for my final design. It shows me all the essentials, so I'm happy with it.
