thanks much! i'm not much into pink, but i just kept wondering what a pink and black painting would be like, and this is it.

thanks for asking how i was after reading my journal. i was having some big time problems, but things are much better now! how are you?

i am okay dear thank you
i know but colors can be emotional you know
like to represent certain mood that is how i see colors
and that is why i don't have a color that i like because i keep changing haha

Love the textures that you achieve by comb, the traces make a lot of sense, helping details definition and outlining. Your titles are delight also

thanks!

the story about that title is funny. it's literally true. my great grandfather was a sheriff in some town in kansas and he had to handle a case in which there were two cars in town, small town and it was well over 100 years ago. family tale. the two cars in that "one horse town" managed to have an accident, hitting each other. doesn't that sound incredibly unlikely! my father is a historian, so he is putting together a little book of family stories and doing oral history interviews, any way, i figure if he say s it, it is prolly true.

the full title is 2 cars in a 1 horse town collide. but of course dA has such annoying policies, like making the title of a piece quite restricted. it usually take me forever to come up with the title that fits in there, ramble ramble! i'm really glad you like it! i love using that comb! i just drag it through a lot of paint on the canvas, and then combs it up down back forth to create wild patterns!

You're welcome!
haha love the story, genuine inspiration! Great that you've managed to comply the title with its length policy and still to retain the funny essence You develop great technique with that comb. Is it only one size? I think it will be very interesting to perform this with a different sizes set!
