Almost exactly as I imagined him, and you're right, no one ever draws Kynes. Good job!

Ehn. I've always been fond of the Dune series, if you can capture the atmosphere, then I'll put up with all manner of 'weird' fan art.
Such as this. Though I mean its good. Not weird.

This one reminds me of FFXII
the desert background the colours and the hair, good job merriya, I love the fact that you left your drawing there for all to see!!
somehow I think the difficulty which you faced is due to the fact that this one is actually facing towards the light, we tend to give our characters a slightlty darker look and its a bit easier to paint shadows rather than light, atleast for me dont know about you!!
but I like him reminds me of my granma

well then I love it anyway, have you read that poem by Yeats, I've forgotten the exact words but he talks of spreading the most beautiful silks underneath his country's feet (or you could say his object affection's but he was a patriotic poet) made of the lights, the halflights and the darks lights but I remember the last verse "but I being poor have only my dreams........tread softly for you tread on my dreams"

Gorgeous! Weather bean? i dont know; Sunkissed hair? definitely! And intense concentrated lok, All the way! I looove this piece! I admire you are bold enough to incorporate the sketchiness as part of the final piece! it looks good, the beard, especialy and the crow's legs, wrinkles are awesome!!
I'm missing the sketchiness in his cloak a lil... but overall, i think i just have this thing for old bearded distinuised gentlemen! heheh

What is that in the background..buttes? Is he in Utah? I'm onto you now, Writer if Dune. Get out while you can, man! There's about 30 Dune books! You'll be dead by the time you finish!
But anyways, the piercing eyes! The realistic facial rendering!MADNESS!

Thank you~~
I'm glad the background actually looks like something (yes they be buttes). Hahaha, Utah... and there's even a character called 'Idaho' in the books!
Frank Hebert's only written the first six of the Dune books, the rest are by his kid and some other fellow. I'm not sure if I'll like them as much. IF I find them in the first place... I was very lucky to accidentally find the first four books in an old bookshop!

Thank you! I was wondering whether the 'blue on blue eyes' effect was prominent enough.
Yeah, amazing books!
