+1 to all of that (not to mention that this crappy model of the MS is old - I've had it since 2009, and even then it wasn't finished ) I'm planning on reworking this eventually - maybe even redesign it completely, I'm not sure yet.

The basic idea is good but the way it's executed isn't at all up on par with what you've learned since.

lol, that's actually a really bad model of the Master Sword, the real thing is much more epic - this version dates back to 2009-ish I'm actually tweaking this render as I type, trying to get it looking a bit more like the original (I'm currently in Linux Mint 12 as well - love it!)

lol! no worries, I know TBH, 3DSMax looks like it has some brilliant features, I'm very curious to try it out! ...no, I haven't gotten 'round to it yet

...I really should find a new, proper avatar though, this one's getting rather old

Well as an avatar.. I personally think this suits you really well, like its your thing xD..

you use blender, I assume you love it because its a hobby of yours.
and I dont know, when I see that, it totally reminds me of you ;D

and 3ds max.. well thats because its not only modelling software, you can make entire movies and export them etc.. you can do physics programming and mechanical engineering simulations in it and etc...

its pretty hard core.

Ah, well, that could just be that when we first started chatting it's the avatar I had, so a link was made I've actually had that happen, I tend to associate avatars with usernames... and truth be told I'm rather reluctant to change it, I've grown rather fond of it over the last 3 years
