This is a most lovely variation of a well loved design by Mio Tsugawa. I must say that you executed the design rather well. The color choice, as always, is magnificent, and the addition of a pattern or texture to match each color unit only adds to the visual impact. The patterns are neatly drawn, not too cluttered and present a very clear statement as a whole. Overall, the piece is of very high quality, but of course, there are always alterations that can be made, either for better or for worse, its subject to the vision of the artist. As a fellow Origamiist, i would like to make a few suggestions for the construction of this particular model, that i think you may find helpful in the future. They are by no means necessary, but they do provide an alternative statement to the viewer. First, before any folding suggestions are made, keep in mind that you may find implementing these techniques using a much thinner paper. To begin, notice where the units come together. As you can see, the gap at each of these junctions is rather large. At times, you may find it helpful to close out these gaps in order to produce a different look to the unit. In order to go about doing that, you should observe that the small, inverted triangles that are the connectors to the units are valley folded. This will inevitably cause the flaps coming out of each unit to be mountain folded. If you reverse those folds, making the two flaps of the square valley, and the final triangle a mountain fold, the effect will be that the holes will almost entirely close up and it will give the affect of the ball being solid, rather than hollow. Overall, however, the piece is truly beautiful, and i hope i have been helpful in the advice i have offered. Great Job.

The pattern on each part is really looking great and the origami is seriously gorgeous. I love how the blue and green are mixed together in this design!

Really this is complicated but it isn’t my most complex, I’ve done more complicated things, just never photographed them lol I thank you for the compliment though!
