Description Adorable Legion being adorable.

I'm sure it's not meant like that in the game, but Legion does say 'a single Geth unit with the old machine upgrades' to the image Xen identifies as a fully formed AI, and Legion is technically a LOT of Geth units. So... if they're all intelligent now, does that mean he's now 1183 people? Are they even networked anymore? Questions over questions.

Anyway, poorly done with crayons, but the unexpected effort that last comic took put me off drawings things digitally for a bit. I promise better quality for the next one.

I believe he was referring to the units as in the mobile platforms. It's likely that the geth programs inside a platform all merged together as a single consciousness as that it happened with Legion.

Good Point, which would then make Legion the most intelligent single unit around.

And remember their Consensus remains unchanged. i think

Correct, because each of the programs is an urge or directive. One normal geth of 100 programs cant even speak! The reaper upgrades merged them so they are one and don't have to build consensus.

I think it's more like each Geth is a memory, and when those memories are formed into a coherent thought process, or conscience, the platform they currently inhabit becomes their main body instead of a giant processing unit like the Geth Hubs. After all, though we make memories, our memories in the end make US.

True, but that upgrade has to somehow break down the big mishmash that the Geth are into single 'units' it can make into persons. And number of runtimes is the only unit you can measure Geth in. Since a platform can contain as little as a single runtime if it's properly networked, that seems to suggest that even one runtime is enough to make a person out of.

Just speculating, of course.

The more I look into it, the more my head hurts. Let's just hope they won't run on Windows Vista.

I never like how Legion decided to upgrade the Geth with Reaper code in ME3.
For one, it's REAPER CODE.
Two, it goes against everything the True Geth stood for in ME2. I mean, what happened to their belief in self-determination and uniqueness as a hive-mind?
Three, IT KILLED LEGION. (Not to mention the rest of the Geth if Destroy is chosen.)
The way I see it, the upgrade should have been another choice; Choose to upgrade, and you get a MASSIVE EMS and technology boost, but at the cost of Legion and the rest of the Geth in Destroy. Choose NOT to upgrade, and you keep Legion and the Geth at the cost of high EMS.
Okay, rant over.
