This is Alice.
Alice was once a simple farm girl that lived life without worry. But fate played Alice a cruel hand when one dark day a vicious wizard with a penchant for dark magics stole her away to his lair. There she was twisted and mutated. Her body was changed into that of a grotesque human-arachnid hybrid for the wizard's own sinister amusement. The torture of the transformation warped her mind and drove her into a wicked madness. She wailed and screamed with pain and hatred within her holding cell, the life she once knew slipping from her memory.
One day, whilst the wizard was away for matters of an unsavory nature, Alice used her new found strength to break free of her prison and escape into the village at the foot of the wizard's mountain. There she kept herself in the darkness of an abandoned house that had long been deemed haunted. She fed on the blood of vermin that dwelt there for a time, brooding in her insanity. Her hatred of the living grew stronger with every passing day. Alice soon began wandering out in the night to snatch up larger victims such as chickens, dogs, and eventually, people. Much like Renfield of Dracula, she collected lives, and grew stronger with each unfortunate soul that perished in her cocoon riddled lair. As she drained them of their crimson life force, she would whisper words of hate and disdain in the ears of her victims. Her webs began to fill the now uninhabited homes of those she had slain and consumed.
On moonless nights, Alice would sit on the rooftop of her abode, staring at the mountain and chittering angrily in the darkness. Her insanity allowed her only one clear thought; revenge. She would continue to feed on the lives of the village until, when she had attained strength most unholy, Alice could crawl back into the tower of the wizard and hang his bloodless corpse from the rafters of her lair.

" Where be Alice now, the poor and wretched thing.
In her wicked home, where joy no sight will bring

Fear the dreadful spider, for she'll take you in the night
Drag you back to her lair and bind you up so tight

Lock your door, hold fast your blood, let not a drop fall
For here comes Alice from the dark to feed and take it all "
