VISTA FIREFOX beta 0.50A theme for Firefox 2 modeled after Windows Vista Explorer. As of yet it is in no way a complete theme; A rough less-complete beta version (0.42) was released earlier by =solidfilter , so I'm releasing all beta versions of this theme.

//VERSION 0.50:
-Text colors for menubar, statusbar, and bookmarks toolbar changed
-Options dialog box icons changed
-Tabs changed (text is now embossed as well)
-as of April 28 the theme will show as 0.50 in the Themes window
// VERSION 0.45:
- Nav-bar background now a blue-to-green gradient
- Menubar and Statusbar have a pseudo-aero look
- Bookmark toolbar items spaced further apart
- Back and Forward buttons are embossed by a transparent background that will look good regardless of its location on the toolbar

i used drag and drop, it doesn't worked. when i hit install, a says popped-up saying that it can not be install because it doesn't have a secure update... hope it will work soon..

I love that theme used it in FF2 but it's not compatible for FF3

Something bothering me, I think the font-size for the search bar should be 9pt or else you'd see it moving left-right at 8pt.

I think you're extracting the .jar file that is downloaded. Just download the .jar file to a folder then drag that file without extracting it (or opening it with any program) and drop it into Tools>Add-ons>Themes.

Click on the orange computer icon to the left of the preview, then follow the directions in the description.

I'm still trying to get this theme fully working for Fx2, so we'll see how it'll work for Fx3 after that.

Fantastic Work! Absolutely fantastic.
The second I started up FF after installing this theme I was like 
But then I opened a tab. And my hopes flew down the drain. 
So I have a few suggestions...
-Tabs should be tighter, smaller tabs with less spacing between them- like the default FF theme tabs. Try to tighten up the tabs. The less the spacing between, the better.
-Try to use less of that ugly milk white xP I see this wonderful Vista blue/green and then it's all washed out by that silly white.
-The "Google" text in the Search bar should not be in italics- try Segoe UI
Other than that, what can I say? It's a fantastic theme in the making ;D
btw, try to give the forward/back buttons a different shade on rollover. Right now they just stay the same: rollover or not.

- The tabs have the same amount of space between them as the default Fx theme's tabs. 
for the next two, let's look at an example of the effect we want: [link]
- The toolbar under the wonderful Vista blue/green toolbar is, well... white.
- The search field's inactive text is, well... in italics. And the font is already Segoe UI, not sure what font you're seeing.
So, yeah... the tabs are definitely something that need refining, but the others will stay the same. Thanks a lot for the input.

The background is a solid shade of blue, not the aero blue green in the picture, I think that's what makes it really seem live Vista.
