During one of my many field trips from an environmental class, I was able to witness probably one of the prettiest morning skies I have ever seen. The story of this picture is as follows, I got off the bus and became lost for a few minutes, making me stumble upon this view. This was way before quarantine or covid was mentioned.

Now onto the concept, this piece, while showing the beauty of air plane tracks in skies, also displays the effect it has on our oxygen. Jet fuel is a large contributor to geenhouse gases, and in places like Portland, the air for locals becomes drastically different in temperature and cleanliness compared to its outskirts. My intention was to make the sky look fantasy like, and most of all, get the viewer to think of what causes skies to look unnaturally pretty. What could be done about air pollution is innovating cleaner energy, offsetting your carbon footprint when flying, and taking flights only when necessary.
