A cover/promotional image for my eventual comic Foxfire Force.It's the story of a married couple who are also members of the special forces team FoxFire in the Royal Air Navy.

I've liked them since I was a kid and their resurgence in 'Gaslamp Fiction' and other fantasy titles really makes me happy. I quite enjoy the idea of several tons of metal and fabric floating in the sky due to lighter-than-air particles. Real life examples such as the 'Graf Zeppelin' and the 'R101' are among my favorite engineering feats ever conceived. Their use in fiction is pure fun, especially if magic or scientific factors are introduced to make them a more viable commercial/war vehicle. Probably my favorite fictional setting for airships is in 'Bioshock Infinite' where the airships are powered by science way ahead of its time. Probably my favorite vehicle due to its massive size and engineering.

The same-sex uniforms and the archaic weaponry argue for VERY alternate history. Large caliber conventional armament makes a case for VERY mixed technology. The energy pistol augments that case. Not sure if that's a primitive radar array on the mast, but THAT would be a different historical take as well.
