Besides freelance gigs, I haven't really animated much for myself these past few weeks. So I opened flash and scribbled this out, so pardon the slop. I guess I was channeling Eric Goldberg's Louis the gator from Princess and the Frog when animating this. He could his some lost bayou brother or something. I should watch it again sometime...Also, even though there's no audio, just imagine he's saying something along the lines of "Get to work" to some small swamp critter who couldn't pay his tab and has to wash some dishes. I don't know, whatever, use your imagination!

Dude if it wasn't you who uploaded this I'd have thought Eric Goldberg DID do this XD I love how you can just whip out film-quality stuff like this in only a day or so, haha.

Sure, it moves well... but does it LOOK good? XD
I can't make things look very nice, it's all gotta be scribbly and rough. And the worst part is, my better work seems to come from those on-the-fly moments. I can spend a lot of time and energy on a scene from planning to drawing it out and I think it's ends up looking like trash, but I sketch something like this in 20 minutes or so in Flash with no plan of attack whatsoever and it... well... just look at it.

I keep imaging he says " Or, -I'll- eat -YOU!-" or "I choose YOU!" like he would pick an ingredient for his next meal.
