Description A grave dragon, the draconic guardians of the dead. Grave dragons are large, muscular dragons studded with lithoderms and bone spurs, giving them a feral and savage appearance. In truth, grave dragons are stoic caretakers of dragon graveyards and other sites where the bodies of ancient wyrms are put to rest, they are only stirred to violence when those sites become threatened. A grave dragon can breathe a cone of ash and wind that can instantly slay a man and turn his body to dust, but they will only do so as a last resort.

Grave dragons are among the most long-lived of true dragonkind, and those who approach them under terms of peace find that they are quite accommodating of any questions that might be asked of them. They are a wealth of information about the many dragons who have died over the centuries, how they lived and how they met their end, and in some cases whether they left their hoards intact. For its part, the grave dragon considers its graveyard and the bones within to be its hoard, and like any dragon it will respond to thievery with lethal force.

The day that happens is the day I drive down to Seattle with a gas can and duct tape, and Steeler's Wheel.

So, how many dragons is it per graveyard? Because I can't see there being many dragon graveyards out there.

A family typically tends a graveyard, so two large adults, one to three sub-adults and a clutch of juveniles. Grave dragons are a rare breed as a result of their habitat preferences, but being creatures of extraordinary longevity they have low reproduction rates to combat potential overpopulation.

Ah, just curious. It just seemed like you were suggesting one dragon, one grave yard.
