she's a ballet dancer ^_^took about 30 minutes to sketch and clean, and this time i tried using those guideline thingies when drawing the anatomy ^_^

But just a tip, is she supposed to be wearing pointe shoes, or is that just some kind of modern ballet shoe?
Well, if its a point shoe, the ribbons are thick, and only go up to the top of the ankle.

it drives me absolutely insane when people draw and picture pointe shoes like that. theres no way the ribbon can go that high, it ties at the ankle, come on u need ur calve muscles to do anything and u cant flex them at all with the ribbon like that. it also makes a picture look terrible no matter how great everything else is

lol i bet this has already been pointed out, but i must point it out cuz i'm like....a ballet girl so anything even minisculy odd or wrong must be pointed out XDDDD the shoe isn't big enough, or long enough, i should say. There's a wood block at the end of a pointe shoe, so pointe shoes generally look rectangular and are about 1 and a half inches longer than the foot ^^

Lovely, but the shoes are way off. Pointe shoes cross once in the front, with both ribbons starting on opposite sides of the shoe, cross over eachother, and meet in the back, where they form a loop... I have some accurate pointe shoe drawings, if you want to look at them.

wowwy gee wilikers!! Its sooo incredibly beautiful!!! Her stature and poised look deffinantly show she is a dancer. I weep for her knowing that she is wearing point shoes and they hurt like crap, my friend whom ive been dancing with for a while now NEVER shuts up about how bad they hurt. but i digress, VERY beautiful artwork!!

hehe not much advice from me, im pretty in experienced.. but yeah, ive tried it, didnt like it too much and stopped XD ahhh i need to be more persistent with things i guess!! but ballet for two years! thats wonderful!
