Description Fan-Tails look absolutely nothing like their Madagascan lineage ancestors. Long tails, only a few teeth in the rear of their mouths, the front having been turned into a beak and having thin, sharp, wings used in flight. These are frugivorous and insectivorous. However, the hook on their beaks does occasionally aid in killing larger prey. They have been known to mimic human voices and speech when taught. This group is most often used to flaunter one's wealth and indeed, the ultimate sign of wealth in the 19th Century.

1. Elvis Fan-Tail- This happensto be the larger of the two existing breeds and duller.

2. Forked Fan-Tail- Also known as a "Forked Elvis", this is perhaps the most expensive and the rarest of the fowl. With two long trailing primary remiges, two pairs of rectrices sticking out before and from the fan along with two ribbons, forks stick out from virtually every end of this breed.

My girl wanted one of these, but I told her no, she said I'd had a wooden heart.
