Description After the war, Prism searches the ruins of Eggman's base and discovers someone buried in the rubble. To her horror, it's her long-lost friend Zero. His mask is broken and he's bleeding out from where the Phantom Ruby once was. Despite it all, he's still alive! But just barely. She quickly removes him from the rubble as carefully as she can and manages to stabilize him long enough for help to arrive. Although others are a little reluctant to help, she begs them to not let Zero die. They manage to get him to the Resistance Headquarters just in time for him to be saved. Luckily, without his haunting mask or the Phantom Ruby, almost no one in the Resistance knows he was Infinite and he is able to have a steady recovery without having to worry about any especially spiteful Resistance members wanting to take advantage of his current state to end the threat of his existence once and for all. Prism remains at Zero's side, determined to be there for him when he finally wakes up so that she can help him recover from his trauma and not expose himself as Eggman's puppet who nearly destroyed the world.

However, when Zero finally opens his eyes, they are blank and empty. Prism excitedly hugs Zero and expresses her joy to see him okay, but soon realizes that something's not right with him. He isn't reacting to anything and has this soulless expression on his face. It's as if he's nothing more than a doll. Not the amazing friend Zero she fought so hard to find, nor is he the merciless killer Infinite who threatened everything and everyone she loves. He's just... empty... Prism cries and begs him to snap out of it, not wanting to believe that her friend is still out of her reach after everything that's happened. It isn't until Doctor Quack and Tails comes in that she leaves Zero be, Tails dragging Prism away so that the doctor can examine Zero properly now that he's awake. Tails calls the others who are aware of Zero's identity and tells them that Zero is okay, but that something seems to be wrong. They do their best to help Prism calm down, but Prism is too worried about Zero for anyone to calm down enough.

After some time, Doctor Quack finally steps out of Zero's room and, after a sudden flurry of questions from Prism as she gets up in his face, he explains that Zero seems to be in some kind of shock from massive trauma and his mind has gone into some sort of empty, emotionless state as a means of blocking it out. He also explains that Zero doesn't appear to have any memories, possibly due to his method of blocking out the trauma or because of the trauma itself. Prism is horrified to learn this and worries that Zero may never go back to the way he was before Eggman captured him. Calming herself down enough for Zero's sake, she remains at his side and tries to help him remember their friendship and who he was. Sadly, it seems like nothing she tries works and he remains an empty shell of his former self. Prism can't help but cry as she tries and fails to help Zero remember who he is or get any response out of him.
