I had to go read a summary of Tristan and Isolde. This is really beautiful. Your use of stark contrasts (green/red, searing/soft) to depict a feeling of conflict while also creating a beautiful series of images is truly excellent. You do a great job of depicting a complex story in such a small number of words.
