Well hello there mister plague doctor~! ;>I'm on spring break now, woooooo!! 8'D For a while there I didn't think I was going to make it through all those illustration midterms..! ;w; (I thought tests were bad, but now I know that final illustration projects are worse..!! orz )
To celebrate, I dug out my crow quill pen and ink from my drawing media class and doodled this here plague doctor last night~ xD
(Oh snap, I get to upload this to the traditional media gallery..! 8D That's something I don't get to do very often! xD)
specifications: approx. 3 x3.5 inches, acrylic ink on bristol board
also, title comes from a song by Subway to Sally !

Hi there, I'm sorry this reply is so late! Β (Happy belated birthday, if it's already come and gone at this point..!) Β The quilled pen I have is really nothing fancy, I picked it up at the art supply shop on my college campus back when I was still taking classes.

Anyways, I love this kind of linework and cross-hatching. <3 The whole thing just feels so whimsical what with the tilt of the buildings and that adorable moon. xD And I swear I mention this every single time but the lighting and shadows on your plague doctor here are just fantastic. *_*

oh noes!! D: I hate that feeling of having to go back to school after spring break... because then the only thing you have to look forward to is summer break, which always feels like a looooong ways away.... Dx )

A rather dark looking masked-character. I really like the abstract style of this, and the checkerboard-style ink shadings on the buildings & night sky.
