“So what’s on the agenda tonight?” Maria asks. “Just general patrols and see what comes? Or did you two have some sort of list of things to do?”

“We’re going to the midwinter festival,” I say and start off. I’m not familiar with how comfortable Benny is with running but we do have quite a bit of distance to travel to make it to the city.

“Wasn’t that like a week or so ago?” She asks.

“It was delayed,” Benny speaks up, matching my pace as I slowly pick up the speed, watching him to see what speeds he’s comfortable with. “There was that freak blizzard that hit the city a few days before the festival. There was a vote and they decided instead of trying to rush things along to make sure everything was cleared away in a very short amount of time they were going to postpone it until today and tomorrow.”

“Yup, we’ll head on over there and enjoy. Food, drinks, games, a few shows here and there and everything paid for by the city budget. So we won’t have to spend anything the entire night. There’s even an ice sculpture wing I’m sure you’ll want to visit. Though one thing to remember is no pokemon battles allowed. It’s considered bad luck.”

“Well you and pokemon battles usually ends up bad luck for whoever you’re up against,” Maria jokes.
