Here's my new bird baby! I just picked him/her up today. We've named him* Jingo. Jingo is a 3 month old blue quaker parrot/parakeet.*we are currently calling the bird a him but we won't know what gender s/he is until a DNA test is done.

He shouldn't get much bigger; though his tail will grow some more I'm sure. Apparently they only get to be about 12 inch from beak to tail, and about 90 to 120 grams. He hasn't said a lot to us yet, but is very very cuddly and loves his beak rubbed. He shakes his head back and forth and makes a tongue rolling noise haha. The breeder says he also knows "I love you" and "tickle, tickle". I'm totally in love lol.

lol yes, there is quite a bit of work involved. He needs fresh food every day, and are quite messy! But totally worth it
