Idk if we're supposed to take it seriously, but, I think i would've liked Pearl a lot more if she was more sweet and had a bit of stage fright and I'd still like Marina the same if she had a meaner personality. Anyone else?

Great comic. It's truly a sad situation, because the relationship that Pearl and Marina (or Preal and Mirana) had in the beginning was perfect, but when corporate executives started changing them, something truly unique got lost. Things like that do happen in showbiz in real life, so the situation this comic sketches is recognisable.
Even though this is just a different interpretation of Off the Hook, it somehow even works with their canon counterparts. Marina can make some rude comments in the game, while Pearl show a softer and more cute side of her sometimes. It makes you question what they are really like.
