GREAT WORK!! I am really diggin! I started using my airbrush....can't seem to get it to quit spider spattering on me though....really pissin me off! Any pointers?

your paint could be to thick or the tip of the needle may be bent or both. To fix the needle you can use this trick here [link] ... As for reducing what i do personally is use tap water and reduce and mix in Dixie Cups and Baby food jars. Then i string it up with an end of a paint brush. Its hard to say the exact amount cause im not sure what paint your useing. But i use mostly Createx and i reduce it down to about 1 drop of paint to 3-4 drops tap water, i also use about 40 psi on my compressor. The main thing is the stirring of the paint, you really have to stir hard and good to break it up. If your looking for a paint thats ready for spray, look into Comart airbrush paint. Its a little pricy but its really thin and color concentrated. Good stuff. Spectra Tex is also one i use thats not gooey and dosnt need much reducing. If you want to make reducer , i suggest this [link] .. Its what i use to use and works really good for createx products. The down side is if your doing t shirts your t will smell like fantastic cleaner .....

Yet another LATE reply...'Doh!! As you can see I too have not been very "active" here on DA lately. I am so grateful for the wealth of insight and extra tricks 'o the trade action! I haven't tried a few of these yet. I took my air hose to storage since I was kinda gonna move but then didn't. So, I will implement your suggestions ASAP! I really want to start painting but keep getting blocked and then distracted by something else...(to self)Blast you A.D.D.! Well thanx again and I'll catchya lates.
P. S. Just curious, what's your favorite medium? Airbrush, aerosol, pens, markers....etc.?

well a guy seen my work and offered me a job, and anything in art is fine with me so i took his offer. Things have been good so far !! i just moved back home to. Thank god , ive never been so broke so now i got my studio back and im going to stat painting again by next weekend !!
