Description Senior Airman Nathanael Callon

U.S. Army Pfc. Sheldon Meats, 3rd Platoon, Fox Company, 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment and Midland, Texas, native, provides security while his team rests during a dismounted patrol near Combat Outpost Mizan, Mizan District, Zabul province, Aug. 16, 2010. The patrol focused on speaking with the local population to assess their needs and surveying the security of the area.

He's carrying an M249 SAW(Squad Automatic Weapon), which is accurate out to 1200 meters. With that scope, he was likely covering out to the second hill in the background.

There's really only the two choices, 7.62 or 5.56 :3

The 240B uses 7.62, personally, I prefer .50 or 20mm.

20mm would be overkill... .50 BMG is good enough. Plus 7.62 is a man stopper no doubt and with the right barrel length, twist rate, bullet weight and design the 5.56 is also a pretty decent man stopper
