Description Book cover for the Italian edition of "Pirates of the Relentless Desert","Alati - I Pirati del Deserto", written by Jay Amori and edited by Mondadori. The second cover of the Trilogy finally out, it was a very difficult and painful work, mostly due to the perspective and choice of keeping it clean without too much noise and details and work on the materic feel.
Worked on it so much that came to the point of being unsure if it's ok or not, but seems it's fine

Mostly painted even if some smaller details still have photographic source present.

Trovato l'autrice di questo sublime capolavorooooooo!!!
E'... E'... Che emozioneee!!!
Devo essere sincera, non ho letto il libro, ma sono quasi del tutto impazzita appena ho visto il magnifico disegno sulla copertina...
E finalmente posso dirlo "in faccia"...
Complimentissimi!!!

Enigmatic image, almost mystical. Great, I'd buy the book! I think the very slight error (if there is one), is merely the length of his left arm (it's too long if it's touching the ground).
Easy for me to say that but impossible for me to paint as you do. well done!

I think the perspective is still a bit off....My brain wants to translate him at an angle because he's so close to the poles that are exactly vertical while directly behind him. I think the poles need to be tilted more towards the viewer the closer they are to him. Either that or make the poles smaller to put them more in the distance. I know this isn't really helpful right now for this particular piece since you've probably already submitted it, but maybe it'll help in the future for other things....
