If you got a tail, why not use it? No matter if you just tease a little with it, or use it for pick-up moves.
Despite being quite supportive and sweet together, Modo and Piper do have a few flirtatious and playful moments together. Of course Modo was raised to be a gentleman and would never just pick up women like that so casually. (The only exception is if it's an evil goon in need of some intimidation). However Piper didn't have a chance to be raised as a proper lady, so she doesn't mind more daring moves from the giant mouse. If anything, it just shows how comfortable they are with each other, without needing to please each other and the ways they were raised. Besides, a healthy amount or tease and daring does show how much affection you have towards your significant other.

Own notes:
Honestly, one of the best elements about drawing the mice is their tails, especially if you manage to make them really smooth, dynamic and effective. The best part is if you can make them into an extra limb or interactive tool. After all, I enjoy exploring and taking advantage of any extra traits, limbs or biological "accessories" any species have, be it fantasy or sci-fi races. So much you can do and play with. However... There are still a few elements that I still hate to draw, despite already gaining some experience.
Man, oh man... Modo, your arm is a real bitch to draw! Especially when I have to speculate positions I can't remember or find from the show, like having the arm behind his back. Not to mention the position and angle of every block. I could really use a 3D-printer to make me a replica for practices... Or maybe a toy but those things are so old you can't find them even at flea markets anymore.
Piper on the other hand... drawing your front hair always looks kinda weird, until I add the ears and the braid. Somehow those two elements completely fix the overall look of the whole composition. Maybe I should really consider making her Sarah Connor haircut in the future story arcs.
