Anonymous Annatar (Secret Santa in Middle-earth
) for I wanted to include Glingal and Belthil - the two trees crafted from gold and silver by Turgon himself, in the memory of the Two Trees of Valinor.

Beautiful depiction, Mirach! It has that lovely feel of chivalric courtship in a sort of 19C Romanticist setting, providing a lovely snapshot of their short time together in Gondolin before the fall. The 'effigies' of the Two Trees add a nice effect, juxtaposing the two characters well. I also like the light that they emanate

Thank you very much! Tolkien wrote about Tuor having golden hair, but not even Ted Nasmith followed that description. Now that you say it, it does remind of Eowyn and Faramir, but it didn't occur to me when painting it
