Kyouko Kirigiri from Dangan Ronpa.I admit defeat.

I tried to make it not spoiler-ish for those who are interested in joining this fandom.
Kirigiri by far is my number one favourite character and when I got up to the bad end, I didn't want to see the video.
Dangan Ronpa: Academy of Hope and Students of Despair is a Japanese PSP game by Spike.

I saw the video. I felt so bad for Kirigiri. But then I laughed considering Hagakure's predictions really are twenty percent accurate.

Though I dmit I would have rather Ishimaru or Mondo stuck around instead. I kinda liked them more than Hagakure. Though for some reason I can't help imagining Hagakure having the voice of Brock. And now I'm imagining him tell Asahina that nothing beats a jelly filled doughnut.

Yeah it's a shame that Ishida didn't last longer. Personally if it would have had to stay as it was I would have liked Ishimaru and Mondo to have at least lasted until chapter five or so. It was just weird seeing all the characters I liked getting killed off so early.

Yeah but it's good in a sense that you don't expect it to happen, thus retaining the mystery. I didn't except Celes either. I thought her storyline was a cop-out. She could have had potential along with Ishida.

I agree and you're right about how it made the mystery better. Heck knows they made it obvious that Maizono would be the first to go, but you didn't really want to see her go that quick. I also find it funny how Kirigiri is super high school detective when Naegi did almost all the work. I mean I expected her to be that like the rest of the SA thread, but at the same time I thought Naegi should have been called that too. XD

Haha, every great detective has an assistant! I thought if Kirigiri did all the work, she would solve the game/murders too quickly. Think of it as her giving Naegi the opportunity to train to be the next detective! Yeah, after finishing, I think Naegi deserves an even better title- Super High School Level Investigator!

Haha yeah but it felt as if for example Maya got all the credit for being a great detective when Phoenix was the one who did all the detective work ya know? XD But yeah it would have been too easy if the game had starred Kirigiri from the beginning. I don't know about Naegi though but I would have been all like "after all the crap I went through saving you guys in all these school trials I get called SHSL Hope? I think I at least deserve something cooler than that." lol.

LOL well it would have been nice if Maizono would have at least stayed alive for one trial then got killed off. I'd have been fine with that too. I really think though that if not for alter ego Fujisaki would have been my least favorite since s/he wasn't very deep of a character until alter ego showed up.

Yeah, Sayaka would have turned out to be an even more manipulative character compared to Celes. I felt sorry for Chihiro only when they went into his/her backstory. Now I think that Alter Ego has more personality than Chihiro.

Well you have a point she was pretty manipulative, but compared to Celes who ddin't care about the people she hurt Sayaka at least cared about Naegi as Kirigiri said. As for Chihiro I did feel sorry for him when it came to his back story. Although Mondo's came off far better by comparison.

That was one good point about Sayaka. Though I found it annoying that she kept using the phrase, "I can read minds, no I just have good intuitions." I agree, I liked Mondo's story better. Chihiro's backstory pales in comparison.

haha well as slowbeef said that was probably the writers trying to make her a parody of Maya from Phoenix Wright, and yeah Mondo's story was just mroe awesome. Chihiro dressing like a girl because he felt weak doesn't really make sense. Especially when the free time events place him as being praised for his other talents in regards to everything he created.

Yup, she does seem like Maya since she volunteered to be Naegi's assistant. I thought with Chihiro, they would make his background something along the lines of being transgender or confused- but instead -shrugs- I'm hoping sdr2 is giving more thought to character profiles and personality.

Well from what the retsutalk podcast said it seems like the game does travel into that territory so we may be in for a treat whenever we can read the thread without the stupid paywall being there.
