Oh noes, Shaggy is crying! He's also trying to be brave and hear his dad out, otherwise he'd be completely under that bed. Sugie's so sweet trying to comfort him with Bun Bun. Pop's uncomfortable with how to go about handling this and what to say, but he's doing his best.
Again lovely background and great job on the stormy weather!

Good artwork; it's interesting that in a Pup Named Scooby Doo, Shaggy's sister was named Sugie, but in one of the 1983 Scooby and Scrappy era shows, she's named Maggie.
Plus, here and in a Pup Named Scooby Doo, she has brownish hair, while in the Scooby and Scrappy episode her hair is blonde...

Yeah, I've basically come to accept that unless it's specifically shown that the two series share a universe it's safe to assume they don't. So Maggie and Sugie are both Shaggys sisters but it's probably safe to say they both don't exist in the same universe.
What's new Scooby Doo has a flashback scene where they all look like they did in the pup series and so far that is the only time I've seen a definate link between any of them.

It's certainly possible that's the case. Or they both could exist in the same universe, and one could live in a different state as the gang, or one or both could have grown up with Shaggy, but we never saw her, or something like that.

I tend to view them as being the same person, with Maggie being her legal name, and Sugie being a nickname and a play on the word Sugar. Kind of like how Shaggy is a nickname but Shaggy's real name is Norville. Unlike her brother who never has and likely never will like his legal name, she gained a preference for her real name as she got older. As for her hair color she easily could have dyed it. It's entirely plausible that they are two different people or exist in different variations of the dooniverse though.

I was thinking that was the case as well; Maggie is her legal name, while Sugie is the nickname.
It's definitely possible that she could have dyed her hair as well; I was also thinking that she has some kind of unique genetic condition that causes her hair to lighten from dark brown to blonde as she gets into her late teens or early twenties, but that might be too off the wall.

I've got a dog that freaks out during storms. Shes cute though so I don't mind putting up with her, just wish they didn't scare her so much.

Oh, poor Shaggy and Scooby... poor little cubs... I mean poor little child and pup... (again I was thinking about their sphinx form, this time as cubs... oh, I would like to hug them)
At least his dad is trying his best to calm him down. Not everyone can do that...
And I saw Shaggy's tears, despite being so hard to be seen.

Yeah his Dads trying his best, so even if it doesn't work and he says the wrong thing he still gets points for trying. I think being comforting might make him uncomfortable add tears and it's even more awkward for the guy. Oh well, his hearts in the right place.
