I really like all the detail you put into the octopus arms in the umm... I forget what those things are called... but they are the color receptor thingies for blending in with the backgrounds! Very nice, and I love the shinyness of them!
The fox figure is very well done although I think you should have put higher dark value contrasts in the white fur...otherwise it's great XD

the diagonal motion encompassing the whole piece makes it great. There's only one straight line, but you can tell that everything else is also moving along that line. As mentioned before, the colors really work too. I noticed the extreme contrast between fox and background, which supports how the piece is all about this conflict. I like it a lot!

Your eye really sinks into this piece with the perspective both on the main character and the position of the tentacles behind him.
It has an action feel, yet at the same time reminds me of scroll work depicting battles of ancestors telling a story of saving a village.
The colours really work great for this piece; the red sash attracts the eye to the main character without overpowering it, letting your eye ride from the head, to the tentacle infront of him, then down the spear-pole to absorb the rest of this picture.
All around a very elegant piece.
