Description This was one I finished last-minute to sell as a print at an anime con this summer. I was since finally able to secure myself a copy of Splatoon, and have since joined the hordes of mindless addicts spending way too much time on the game. XD It was fun to try something a little different for the background of this picture, though I wish I had been able to create a more dynamic composition for the whole picture. Oh well.

Ah, yes, you sent me a picture of this one when you were working on it. I really love how you captured the...I guess, sticky? quality of their skin. It sticky weird? Maybe squid-like quality? Anyway, I love these two and I always think of you when they come on, for some reason. Very nice work!!

Hahaha, no, stick isn't weird. Squids are sticky and so is cupcake frosting. And thank you so very much! ^v^ I love watching them too, and that makes me grin that they make you think of me. Why do they remind you of me, though? The only thing I was able to come up with off the top of my head is that Callie has a similar silhouette and hair and eye coloring to Peridot.

I don't even know! It really must be that Callie is similar to Peridot in terms of color scheme and silhouette, but it's also the way that Mari talks to her sometimes, it is kind of like you and Feathy-chan in my mind. :'D I don't know. Haha! Splatoon is also a very "you" game, so that could be why I think of you too.

Ahahaha, I can totally see that! We really do go back and fourth like that a lot, which seems to even extend to the comments on here. XD I actually have tried to talk sis into doing a duo cosplay of them with me, but the convincing hasn't worked yet. I think it's partially due to the fact that no amount of bribery could talk her into wearing a cosplay wig- she's terrified of them for some reason. >v<

Ah, and thank you! I really enjoy that game, and the art is definitely up my alley. I think it's all the nautical stuff in it. >v<

Oh, no, it's only on Wii U, sadly. But it IS super fun and is definitely one of the games that makes having a Wii U worth-while. ^v^
