Description
There was a light tap at the window, probably a messenger bird. They weren't uncommon, some of them carried the mail, some of them brought orders for the shop, it was all very run of the mill. tap tap tap!
"Alright alright, I'm coming, I'm coming! Keep your beak on.." she said hurrying to unlatch the window and pull it open along with the curtains.
She had already started to reach into her dress pocket for a coin to pay the bird, but stopped as the bird had flown away before the window had even opened. How odd. But there was a box there. Tied with a hemp string with a little paper placard with her name on it. That was odd too, normally deliveries were addressed to the shop itself, maybe the sender just got it wrong..But she found there was no sender address or name when she picked up the box to inspect it. It did have some weight though, and something thunked against the side when she turned it.
"Might as well." She said, sitting herself upon the sill to make herself comfortable.
The string gave with a bit of a struggle, it had been tied too tightly out of fear of the box coming open under the weight of its contents. Which, when she opened it, it was filled with lavender tissue paper, and a beautifully blue glass orb.
She had to stop for a moment to catch that hitch in her chest the moment she saw it.
Now, to anyone else outside the Storm kingdom receiving a glass orb would seem very silly. But oh, how far from it, it was! It was a popular tradition to give a gift just like this to a lover or a person you would fancy. It was a most important gift in any courting in the kingdom.
But who would send her such a thing?
There was no return sender, and--oh? what was that?
There was a white card nearly hidden by the tissue paper, and she quickly pulled it out, hoping for any information at all.
The script was skillfully penned in gold ink, someone had put a lot of time into making it look good.
Sunny,
Please forgive me over the unorthodox way I am presenting this to you. It should be properly presented to you in person, but I fear that if I were to openly give it to you, it would cause some commotion that neither of us would want. I do hope this finds you well, and puts you in good spirits.
I assure you, this is no joke, for this is no laughing matter. I have been wracked with my conflicting feelings for weeks, and now I have gathered the nerve to act upon them.
Do not think ill of me for not revealing myself to you presently, as I said before, conflicting feelings, but still feelings nonetheless, and they are very true.
Yours,
Secret Admirer.
P.S I had no idea what your favorite color was so I used mine. Which is blue, if you didn't notice.
"A secret admirer?" Well that wasn't helpful, but oh, it was terribly exciting, and it had her going through her mind who it would possibly be, but none seemed to click.
"How interesting."

was having a bad day, so naturally I wanted to make it better so I forced let her make a request. UuU I loved working with Sunny, and coming up with a little drabble behind the picture ; u ; even if it is a little vague~
I know its not a hug, or a bucket of icecream, but bad days really do suck, no matter who you are, and I know that little things, especially nice little things from people who care and want to make you feel better is the best medicine for rotten days. I'm not saying it works all the time, but at least there's an attempt.
I hope this makes you feel at least a little bit better bby Q H Q
