Description
He had been reading the same passage over and over again for the past few hours. It was scribed in his own handwriting, with spider like scrawling and his signature flourish. But he did not writ the words on the page. Not in this life, at least. It was his most recent past life that had written it.
It was a diary his last self had kept in the later years of his life. He told lessons, and wrote of his feelings upon certain things, and not to mention important events that had happened in his old life. Not like he couldn't learn about them in history books, but..well they just seemed more personal when he was reading it from his own point of view..
This one passage though, made him stop, made him think.
It hit a chord with him, on many levels, and he dreaded lifting that blasted book to read over those words once more. He read them over again and again. It was just a few simple lines. How could they hold such weight?
He closed the book, and buckled the cover. His brow furrowed as he looked over the worn leather, and ran his finger over the brass that secured it's corners. He hated how the contents of the book frustrated him so, and how he couldn't not read it. It had so many answers for him. But like the last passage, left him confused, and with more questions.
"My lord?"
He jumped at the voice of one of his servants, and he was quick to hide the book at his side, out of the view of the Jackdaw man. "Yes? What is it?" He asked the servant, what was his name? Greg? No...Keller! yes, it was Keller.
The Jackdaw cleared his throat and spoke in a squeaky and almost metallic voice. "You are being summoned to the grand atrium. There are visitors from the terra kingdoms, and your presence is requested."
Ah, yes, he had been expecting company, so he nodded and hopped off the window sill he had been sitting in for a while, feeling stiff in his lower back and his neck now that he was straightened up. "Right, do tell them I will be there presently. Make sure they are comfortable and catered to." He said, and Keller nodded quickly before giving him a quick, "yes, sire" and then he was off.
Thunderbird turned his attention down to the book in his hand and stared down at it for a while, letting this thoughts go over his mind once more. Then he sighed and took the book up to his office, before going to attend to his company.

Haahahaha I am the queen of stupid and vague drabbles. Oh well, at least the picture is amazing, and not too bad for a four hour grind on it. Ugh I had so many problems with it at first though. halfway through I realized I accidentally inked the background lines on top of my figure lines and I was too far ahead to back it up all the way. But thankfully I had saved the foreground lines somewhere else so, with a little finagling I managed to fix it for the most part 9 v 9
I'm actually really proud and happy with this.
Enjoy bbies ; u ;
