Description this is my half of my Art Trade with Raven ~RSR-Productions who was kind enough to accept after she made a stamp i requested and decided to pay her back, this car is driven by one of her O.C's Valkyrie Aries:
[link]
[link] and i decided to trick it out a bit,the first thing that comes to mind happens to be the huge turbine under the car, they're Turbonetics race turbines welded on each side of the twin exhaust, the engine is a bore and stroked 427 c.u V8 straight out of a 1967 Corvette Sting Ray making over 890hp @ 6000 rpm (1000hp with the push of a button, which turns off the Boost regulator and unleashes hell on whatever she's going after) and 1,100 lbs/ft @ 2,500 rpm.the suspension is done by Hotchkis Suspension and it's a 4 link on the rear while the front is a set of race springs, while the transmission is a 6 speed manual from Tremec, the rear end's a 12 bolt Posi trac to keep the rear wheels in place.it was made on a 100lb Bristol paper,a set of mechanical pencils and a simple ball point pen, hope you like it guys.oh i forgot to mention she'll do the main character from one of my fave movies of all time:Kill Bill Vol 1(the 2nd one's good but the first one owns)

Why is the Yenko Nova badged as an SS model? Or is it a custom engine in a stock SS body and chassis?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mister-Lou In reply to fatty119 [2010-03-14 16:03:25 +0000 UTC]

it's a Customized SS Nova made with some styling cues from both the Baldwin Motion Super Nova and the Yenko Nova SS

Total Coolness! What really grabs me is that white "coke bottle" stripe that you used. It's a lot of contrast, but i am really glad to see that in your work. Now if you could try some contrast like that on your bumpers and other chrome parts in your next pieces, you might be surprised about the effect you could get. I like the hood that hints at the Corvette engine underneath. Is it still an SS with that Vette engine? I'm being kind'a picky there...sorry. And i love the red! That's a really good piece of work you have there!

it's cool Dan,i was a little picky myself when i thought about all of the stuff i was going to put on it.the Super Sport badge is nothing more than a appropiate for this beast, not to mention i followed some cues from the Baldwin Motion and Yenko Novas from the 1970's as well.maybe i should work on the contrast part a little bit so i can get the effect i'm looking for.

HotRod-302 In reply to Mister-Lou [2009-12-05 21:31:42 +0000 UTC]

And probably capable of more than 1000. I helped make a twin turbo 350 that was 700+ horsepower and it was just a simple design.

Mister-Lou In reply to HotRod-302 [2009-12-05 22:17:18 +0000 UTC]

700+ horses?sweet.those engines can make so much with little parts

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HotRod-302 In reply to Mister-Lou [2009-12-06 02:38:29 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that was with generic off the shelf parts. Not a lot of porting and polishing and such. Just shove enough air and fuel you can make good power. We didn't even use exhaust headers! Ak Miller, who sold us the turbo kits, has his own castings for exhaust manifolds which are basically stock style with a different outlet for the turbochargers. The thing is... we had the engine done (Ran on propane I think, I know we had to modify the car for a different type of fuel cell, I know it wasn't alcohol) but we never put the engine in.

Mister-Lou In reply to HotRod-302 [2009-12-08 16:21:31 +0000 UTC]

i remember seein a Malibu that made over 1,500hp on Propane fuel, normally aspirated as well.it was brutal

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HotRod-302 In reply to Mister-Lou [2009-12-09 03:09:07 +0000 UTC]

Propane has a lot of good properties, but it takes more to make power.
