thanks,Maikel.it wasn't an easy one at that.the 'Cuda is one of my personal favorites as well but in most of the drawing attempts i made at this one i screwed up the size/proportions.

a lot happened with my life with my father dying from a lung condition last year,i graduated college months before it happened and my mom's going out with this man at least 10 years younger than her,not my thing but she loves him to death, still struggling as usual, not to mention i've posted more photography than drawings(mostly car related and all).

I am so sorry for your loss.
I am happy that you have graduated, and I am not sure how to respond to your mom dating someone young, but I suppose if she is happy that is all it comes down too.

if you can't do the ZR1,you could do a 65' Impala SS or a 1975 Celica RA28 Fastback.i've dealt with some cars i couldn't finish myself, one of them being a Volvo P1800 coupe.

also give me any personal touches you want me to put on everyone of those three

well, the Celica should be clean.Red with a simple pinstripe on the sides, some pocket fender flares.wheels wise,go with either SSR MK2 wheels or even American Racing Torque Thrusts since it was inspired by the Ford Mustang.the ZR1....well,leave it stock. and the Impala,Blue with Camaro Rallye wheels.Salamat or thanks in advance, bro.

Okay
I will do this but I expect you to understand that I am tearing apart a good piece of work. I am nit picking because there are only small improvements to be made.
Youβre prospective and foreshortening is spot on.
I find your chrome work to be dull. It needs more highlights and a (very) few darks. Right now it is all mid-tones, with just the three very high-key highlights.
I feel that the flame job looks good across the front fender but you need a broader tonal range. You need a few clear yellows and some whites to give it a good feel of light. I know it sounds like I am describing gross and big changes but really what I am talking about are very small and fine changes. Subtle details are the key to success here.
Look at the flat plane that extends across the top of the door, starting mid door and extending across the top of the rear fender. That is not as flat as you have drawn it. It has very subtle undulation across it. Once again you need a broader tonal range to show this and once again subtle details are the key to success here.
The wheels never end up in the same position. You would do better rotating one slightly. Also the wheels need a broader tonal range to better render them.
I have watched you get more and more brave and ambitious and brave as you work has improved. And I have watched you work continually improve.

indeed,i need to work on the chrome tones on the cars.that's actually one of my weaknesses when it comes to rendering vehicles aside from the tires.i agree that flame job just didn't pop as much as i expected it to be,i should've used a couple of shades of yellow in the process(having a 50 color Pencil set helps a bit).i should've made some threads to the tires themselves since i originally wanted to work on a cool design pattern but i went with the Racing slicks.sometimes the tires seem like they have too much negative camber and kinda screws it a bit, even by the fact that i bought a circle template, albeit a cheap one without the really big circles, and i'll admit i improvised by using a medicine plastic glass, the small ones with the tablespoon units.the proportions had to be right,so much that i actually traced over the initial sketch a little until it came out right, not to mention the ref pic was out of a car magazine i have.maybe i should make the rear one stick out a little less or a little more, albeit not to the point where the tire is rubbing into the fender, that's a no-no unless you're into the whole Hellaflush/Stanced thing.

thanks,Tony.its not often i work with American cars nowadays because a couple of pricks turned me off with their "Buy American" bullshit,i won't say names but one of them is from D.A and drives a Oldsmobile.

the very same.also a noted bullshitter to boot, this statement he made was just...[link]
the pic in question: [link] i can understand the ricer bashing but fucking with old classic Japanese cars, that's just low, that little Corolla wagon is actually stock and restored to boot so how can it be a "Ricer"?
[link] a little bonus, look in the bottom of the page.
[link] i have no words for this.
what a fucking Attention whore.i actually drew his car at one point and he didn't comment or let alone faved it,i was dissapointed.

yeah, when he shatted on the VW Beetle that was the last straw.i usually don't feel offended when people say things like this, but when you mess with the Bug,there's hell to pay(which was the base and beginning of what Porsche was,not to mention came from the same creator, although Ferry made the Porsche brand, but you know what i'm talking about, mate).if you don't respect the old Beetle (the REAL Beetle, not the New Beetle, which as we know is a retro body on a Golf platform)for what it was, you're not a true car guy.speaking as an enthusiast of both Porsche and VW.i really feel bad for this guy and his deadly sin of being a General Motors fanboy.
