I HAD to illustrate this scene. This was by far the saddest part of Mother 3. It was such a freaking moving scene >_<I got really choked up at that one like too (the one I wrote into the picture), I didn't cry though. I have to say though, I'm am thoroughly impressed. It was a VERY well done scene. Now for those of you who don't know what's going on and don't care about spoilers...:
SPOILER ALERT!!
It's at the end of the game and Lucas is fighting the Masked Man who is trying to pull the last needle sealing away the Dark Dragon (not getting into detail on that >.>
and the Masked Man is actually Claus! Oh noes 
! So you can hear their mother Hinawa's voice telling them to stop fighting and all this other stuff and it's very sad and finally Claus (who was actually dead and re-animated by Porky) remembers who he is. He delivers one final powerful lightning attack knowing that Lucas is wearing the Franklin Badge and it reflects back and deals mortal damage. So this is the scene where Claus is dying and saying goodbye and such...it was very moving T^TEND SPOILER ALERT!!
So yeah. I think I did okay on this. It was really difficult though, body contact is usually hard for me. Also it was just something I never really tried before so I really wanted to. Also the lighting, I think I did decent on that actually. All in all I think I'm pretty proud of this one =3

I love Claus' face here, I think it's so touching and sweet. 
Somehow, their bond is reminding me of many songs (like Guide You Home-my Youtube video~)

Indeed, one of the only games to ever make me even come close to crying. They did such a good job considering it's only done with text and little gba sprites...and music too definitely.

I've always wondered - how did Claus' hair stay perfect from underneath that helmet?
He did shook at his hair in the credits when you actually see him take it off - and I was like "how did he not get clear helmet hair?"

Dammit, Claus, all because you wanted to go play Jurassic Park! When will you learn to grind? And learn you some healing PSI, boy! Thunder and Love might be fiiine and dandy, but goshdarnit, if you're gonna fight you some monsters you gotta at LEAST find a Healer character. You also need to assemble a party, even if its members don't fight too well. You need a tank/guard, a sweeper, a healer, a caster, and if you can find one, a night. You need someone fast on your team, to be able to deal the first hits. If one of them doesn't fight well, stock them with items! Dammit, boy! Lifenoodles, lifenoodles, LIFENOODLES! Don't you know anything about RPGs? And for the love of god, NEVER trust pigs or fat men who seem even slightly untrustworthy! Don't you play Zelda? Or Sonic?
Claus! Do some homework before you fight a giant, cyborg dinosaur! Your first boss, and you screwed up! You got your arm torn off, too! If the pigmasks didn't find you, you'd be dead. Oh, and Star Wars taught you nothing! When you reveal your identity, HELP THEM BLOW UP THE ENEMY, DON'T KILL YOURSELF! I mean, Jeez, it only entices your friends to attempt Necromancy, which we all know ends horridly.
I know you miss your mom, bla bla bla, but I don't think she wanted you to commit suicide. UGH. Teenagers these days.

This is the part that made me cry. Very sad. Especially the fact that it was suicide on Claus's part. Suicide because he was under Porky's control and the only way to stop the fighting and let Lucas live, and save the world, was to kill himself.
And the Franklin Badge's reflection, of all ways of suicide! Truly touching.
There was a certain scene in Mother 3 that made me immediately think "I MUST draw this!" as well. For me it's the sunflower fields scene with the cliff. Not quite done yet, though.

Oh, and while the smell line was odd, I found it very touching. Hell, that and the fact they embraced each other practically MADE the scene.
There were other great lines, especially in battle.
For some reason...Lucas couldn't fight.
Lucas shut his eyes tightly.
Masked Man looked around.
Masked Man covered his ears.
Lucas wanted to cry.

Sorry to triple comment, but I forgot to actually mention the artwork.
The drawing is fantastic. A few random notes:
-You're good at drawing ears. Random, but I just though I'd say it. I just draw little half circles, but your's are good.
-I love Lucas's eyes, especially your choice to include small pupils in them to emphasize the expression. It did a good job. It's also nice that Claus doesn't have pupils, goes well with his emotion too.
-The coloring's good as usual, but I especially like the attention to detail. Tears, scratches, blood, sore red spots, the slight black on the face (Dunno if that's shadows or like a sort of black-eye or soot/ash or something. Whatever it is, it's awesome.)
-You made enough of a [high quality] background to help complete the picture and not seem lazy, but left the background empty enough to be accurate to the game, emphasize on the scene, and to be realistically/humanly lazy. >.>
You're a really good artist. Unfortunately some of your pictures, even lately, don't show this very well. On the good side though, this is one of the pictures that really shows off your impressive talent. Do you seriously just use colored pencils for this?

Yeah I agree really. I have a lot of picture that I get lazy on. This one in particular I wanted to look good though so I put some time and effort into it. Thankyou though I'm really glad you left such an extensive comment. I love these kinds of comments ^^

When I got to that part, I was crying. Because my 2 brothers play as Lucas and Claus. However when you pull the last needle, the dragon comes out and grans you 1 wish, depending on who wakes it up. I bet Lucas' wish was to turn everything back the way it was. Before Pokey and his men came.

I didn't cry but I was definitely choked up. I kept the names default though. I heard a lot of people named the characters after family members though which made it harder.
I personally think that he wished for the world to reset itself and everyone's there. I don't think Claus or Hinawa are alive though unfortunately. I guess it's wide open for interpretation though
