Volume 1 Page 44. I chose this page because it is one of the more gender neutral scene, it doesn't really matter who is the man and who is the woman.Even with that in mind, when Kagome's all up in Inuyasha's face, as a boy it's got a little meaning than the reverse. Granted, Inuyasha Yells right back, but Kagome started it.
Also, Kikyo's name is for a flower, so Kakyou is something to do with a fragrance (and it sounds similar) and Kagome has got a weird meaning, so Kaname sounds similar. Yasha is supposedly for a FEmale demon, so IDK.
